Theoretically I don't think it does matter how many times you tried to make a timed lap as soon as you don't do more than 4 timed laps. It would cause confusion and too much time spending on checking drivers if they went out of their pits for more than 4 times, no matter how many laps they set.

It would be nice to have this system in all of the divisions, if applied in WC. ACE and PRO having only 5 minutes in Q2 has been a point of discussion lately too.

Agreed, I think this mod is pretty spot on how much the real road matters, I remember when the server was reset for the ACE race Michi did a 26.4 after 10 mins with almost no rubber on it and then the track didnt improve by a sec or something like that, I don't think the track gets that faster...
