2017 Round 1 Postponed

Round 1 at Australia will be postponed to a later date in the season.
Bahrain will be the first race, and will take place as scheduled on the calendar March 19.
Preseason tests will take place both this weekend and the next.

Livery submissions will be extended to March 6.

The Technical team wanted more time to finalize the car, and the Media and Press teams have some additional pre-season work to finish as well.

Tbh, that is not what i expected from the FSR at the time of my registration.
A vote for the decision of the postponing would be better in my opinion...

Just a question. Is there now a final deadline for the modification?

There was a vote in the Administration, and we decided to delay. Its not what anyone wants, but it wasn't taken lightly.

For the car, there are slight tweaks to be done but mostly it is finished. Whenever Marco is comfortable with how the car is, but obviously there is a deadline because we don't want to move more races, and we won't.

Perhaps some of the new applicants to FSR this season need to understand there is a Team Owners Association, FSR Administration and other aspects that make the major decisions not just a vote to all drivers on every decision needed because they cant make an informed choice because they dont have full knowledge/details required to make such a vote.
